Lime Pointing - Traditional Lime Pointing completed on 1620's inglenook fireplace in Bridgnorth, Shropshire
For this project, we carried out traditional lime pointing on a stunning 1620s inglenook fireplace in Bridgnorth, Shropshire. Using an authentic lime mortar mix, we carefully removed deteriorated cement pointing and replaced it with a breathable, flexible lime mortar supplied by Ty Mawr Lime, allowing the historic brickwork to move naturally and avoid future damage.
